    Designed for juniors playing high school tennis, state and sectional ranked tournaments. Tennis Academy of the South High Performance coaches train juniors in camp. Intensive on courts drills to make execution second nature. Strategic/tactical work on learning to play your game style utilizing patterned play. Staff gives each student a 3 month, 6 month and 1 year player development plan. TAS staff has scholarship college players to play points with juniors in order to hit against a bigger ball.

    Learning babysitting skills is not just about changing diapers! In Babysitter Boot Camp® participants learn the business of being a good babysitter through safety skills, etiquette, marketing, choosing age appropriate games, fun activities, and knowing what parents are looking for when they hire a babysitter. Participants earn Babysitter Certification, Two Year American Heart Association CPR and AED Certification and First Aid Certification. This is a great camp for older siblings, camp counselors, neighborhood babysitters, children coming home from school alone, and Girl & Boy Scouts. Bring a lunch. A $25 supply fee is due to the instructor on the first day to cover book and certification fees.

Each location will attend 1 field trip per week. Campers will be transported by Forsyth County School buses. Children will be placed into age groups and the camp has a 1:10 staff:child ratio. Campers need to bring a non-perishable sack lunch, 2 snacks, sunscreen and a change of clothes each day (Old Atlanta campers will also need a swimsuit and towel each day). Please label all personal items. Parents must sign campers in and out every day, ID will be required for pick-up. Pick-up and car-pooling arrangements must be arranged in the mornings for afternoon pick-up. Charge for late pick-up is $1.00 per minute per child. In order to best meet camper’s individual needs, we ask that parents/guardians inform us of any accommodations needed at the time of registration and/or at least 10 days in advance of the camp start date. Extended hours provide your child with staff supervision as they participate in a variety of activities. The Summer Day Camp Parent Handbook is provided at registration.

    Campers will be introduced to the world of whitewater kayaking in a safe, fun and enriching environment. Through the guidance of our experienced instructors campers will learn the basic elements of whitewater kayaking and water safety, including wet-exits, forward and reverse sweep strokes, braces, peel outs, eddy turns, ferries and river reading skills. All of the skills taught build a strong foundation for recreational river running.
